Cutting and Finishing
6 Week Course
A truly logical cutting course unique to The Andrew Price Academy. This system removes the confusion out of learning to cut hair. Every learner will leave understanding all the basic techniques and how to combine these techniques to produce a full range of modern styles. Styling and finishing techniques are included for each cutting method.
Suitable for:
- Beginners, who have recently entered the Industry
- Educators/Mentors who wish to fully support their learners by being able to deliver this unique cutting system
- Experienced hairdressers who want to brush up and update their existing knowledge
- For Hairdressers returning to the industry who need to refresh their Learning.
The course content includes:
- Cuts on a Training Head: One length cuts, Classic Increase layering techniques, and Increase Layering with a modern Twist. Uniform Layering, Graduated Bobs, Classic graduation and short graduation.
- Styling and finishing techniques.
- Consultation Techniques
- A mixture of, block work, demonstrations and working on models.
Times. 9.30am to 5.000pm

Colour With Confidence
(3 day course). A colour course suitable for:
- Beginners, who have recently entered the Industry
- Trainers/Mentors who wish to fully support their learners
- Experienced hairdressers who want to brush up and update their existing knowledge
- For Hairdressers returning to the industry who need to refresh their Learning.
The course content includes:
- Colour Theory
- Colour Selection
- Consultation Techniques
- Colour Application Techniques including Andrew Price Foils
- Dealing with basic colouring problems
- A taste of Creative Colouring.
A mixture of classroom based work, block work, demonstrations and working on models. (Participants' need to provide require 2 models.)
Dates:
- Day 1 Monday
- Day 2 Tuesday (Model needed for the afternoon session)
- Day 3 Moday (Model needed for the afternoon Session)
